Dua for Getting Pregnant: Bismillah Hirrahma nir Rahim, my brothers and sisters.
I have seen many people who love marriage or arranged marriages. The issue arises when they do not have a child in their married relationship.
We all know that the baby is important in every husband and wife’s life. They will go to any length to get the baby fast.
They just go to the famous doctor, who knows everything about this, and then take any treatment. The husband and wife eat every kind of medicine, but they don’t benefit from these medicines.
Then they went to the doctor to get a checkup and take medicine. However, some things don’t benefit from any doctor, so they decide to go to any peer or astrologer.
They get the taweez and wazifa from them, and then they eat or drink that taweez to conceive. They spend lots of money to get the baby, and sometimes, they want to spend all the money to get the baby.
- But my brothers and sisters, you will not get anything without the almighty love.
- In the surah of the Quran, one of our prophets doesn’t get a baby.
- And when they got old, the Almighty Allah gave them a baby.
- All these things happen because they trust the Almighty Allah and his book, the Quran.
- They know that if the Almighty Allah wants to give them a baby, he will give it to us.

In Islam, istikhara is a special prayer when someone wants to ask Allah for help making a decision. Expecting mothers who are considering pregnancy can also perform istikhara to seek Allah’s guidance in making the right decision for their health and the health of their potential child.
Here’s how to perform dua for pregnancy protection:
- Make the intention to perform Istikhara for the specific purpose of seeking guidance in pregnancy.
- Perform two units (rakats) of optional prayer.
- After the prayer, recite the following dua:
“Allahumma inni astakhiruka bi ilmika wa astaqdiruka bi qudratika wa as’aluka min fadlika al-‘azlm, fa-innaka taqdiru wa la aqdiru wa ta’lamu wa la a’lamu wa anta allamu al-ghuyub. Allahumma, in kunta ta’lam anna hadha-l-amra (mention your concern) khayrun li fi dini wa ma’ashi wa ‘aqibati amri (or “my/our livelihood and my/our future”), faqdirhu wa yassirhu li thumma barik li fihi. Wa in kunta ta’lamu anna hadha-l-amra sharrun li fi dini wa ma’ashi wa ‘aqibati amri (or “my/our livelihood and my/our future”), then tawaffani wa hab li minhu (from it) [the harm].”
- Recite this dua 7 times, or until you feel comfortable or receive a sign or dream that guides your decision.
- End the istikhara by praising Allah and asking for His forgiveness.
It’s crucial to remember that Allah will ultimately determine the outcome of the istikhara, and His decision might not be what we want or expect. However, by performing istikhara, we put our trust in Allah and seek His guidance in making the best decision for ourselves and our potential child.
